Out in Schools Curriculum guide
Out in Schools is a community based program that recognizes that media is a powerful tool for social change, as well as a highly effective teaching aid. We use film and video with facilitated group discussion to engage students across BC on issues of homophobia, transphobia and bullying. In this project, I managed and directed (along with the Education Advisory) the development of, and Ministry approval for an Out in Schools Curriculum Guide. I also co-edited the guide throughout the development process. (The guide is no longer available in print, some of the material has been incorporated into: http://outinschools.com/curriculum-2/)
