Lori B. MacIntosh is an instructor, writer, researcher and curriculum designer who currently lives and works in Vancouver, BC. In 2013, she graduated with a Ph.D in Sociology of Education from The University of British Columbia (UBC). She works as a Lecturer at UBC in the Faculty of Education and in the Social Justice Institute.

When not teaching or volunteering, Lori can be found spending time with her dog, her wife,  listening to music or watching the news - sometimes all at once - she likes to multi-task.

I want everyone who visits the Lori B MacIntosh website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding. To help me make the site a positive place for everyone, I have been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone. The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA).
